This is a captivating but graphic documentary that explores the way humans treat animals, whether for food, entertainment, scientific research, clothing or as pets.

Warning: This documentary is very graphic at parts and can be hard for some viewers to watch.

“Forks Over Knives” examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods”  (Wikipedia). 

This documentary focuses on the health benefits of maintaining a plant-based diet and is packed full of useful information, much of which you may not already know.

Whereas this is not a documentary directly promoting or discussing veganism, it shines light on our food industry and makes it even more obvious why knowing what your food is made of and where it comes is a good idea (also it’s VERY interesting!).
